Quality versus Quantity online

A few weeks back I brought up Watch Mojo. I recommended checking it out, but I also pointed out that (when I really went to their YouTube channel and looked at all their videos), there’s some problematic lists and elements of the channel in general. Maybe the most problematic thing being Ms. Mojo, but anyway… that’s not my point here.

Here, I want to talk about how there is a big divide between quantity and quality when it comes to Internet entertainment.

This. Re: Age of Ultron

A couple of weeks ago I talked about how the YouTube review shows were starting to hit Avengers: Age of Ultron. Well, we watched the one from Honest Trailers and… yep. That kind of sums it up.

What do you think? Too harsh? Or was it inevitably an impossible movie to make everyone happy and do everything? And did they break Joss Whedon? Let me know what you think in the comments below!

We love us some movies, and we love us some movie commentary. Blogs like We Minored in Film, or YouTube channels like How It Should Have Ended or CinemaSins. Well, somewhere in there we found another: Honest Trailers, by Screen Junkies.

Their most recent is Mad Max: Fury Road, which was pretty spectacular. Basically agreeing with me: if you’re going to make an action movie, make one like Fury Road!
