Taking a break from other throwbacks, I have Guardians of the Galaxy on the mind! We’re hoping to see the second film this weekend, and I guess we’ll see how the below alignment grid holds up! For more on Guardians of the Galaxy, here is my LitFlix from the first film, and here is my analysis of music as a character in the first film. For an introduction on the main characters, we have you covered here.
On our poll of what we should do for an alignment grid, the top result was the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Well, I tried to come up with one for the MCU, but that is a tough nut to crack. A lot of characters, so how to pick?
I didn’t pick yet. Instead, I did one just from Guardians of the Galaxy. I hope you enjoy.

To take a bit of a break between Christmas and New Year’s, and with traveling as well! So I had the idea last week with my alignment grid… how about one of those for The Astral Chronicles? Accurate? Maybe! Spoilers? I dunno! I leave these thoughts for you… enjoy!
A while back, Holly was re-watching Gilmore Girls so I caught a lot of it as well. So many of the characters function as caricatures or archetypes – especially in the eyes of other characters – that I started thinking about this alignment grid. I hadn’t made it and moved on, but now we’re watching the concluding season on NetFlix, and I was reminded of it.
These alignments are all more in relation to one another and internal to the show, as there’s plenty of shades of grey in the show but not really a lot of evil (or good?). Mistakes are made. It’s a thing. But hopefully the alignment grid makes sense… what do you think? Let me know!
And finishing up a week of alignment grids, here it is: the alignments of the Star Wars Prequels. Yesterday was the Original Series. Interestingly, I felt like several of the characters had big shifts between the two series. What do you think?
