So I have been thinking about doing this ever since the guest post by Leah (Odorunara) of The Lobster Dance got freshly pressed, and since we had most of a week with guests posts due to David and I taking a vacation. So first off I want to say thank you to our wonderful guest writers, we appreciate your help in keeping this blog going when we are away because however much we want to think we will write posts ahead of schedule, it does not happen as much as it should. So if you have not had a chance please go and read the guests posts listed below. They are all a great and different perspective on geeky life and culture.

The next thing I would like to do is say thank you to everyone who has decided to follow this blog. I know a lot of you probably got here through Leah’s guest post, but hopefully you poked around and liked what you saw. We try as hard as we can to respond to comments in a timely manner, but as this is a hobby it does not always happen. At the same time it is amazing to see that other people might be interested in what we have to say and I thank you for taking the time to read. I know time can be a precious commodity because there is so much I personally want to do and it can be hard to find time to do it all. Again, we need teleportation devices or time travel – either one of these things would help immensely.
Although sometimes we are so connected and can always be going we forget to just relax, but that is a conversation for another time. For now I just want to say thank you for dropping by. David and I started this as a thought experiment and will continue it because there are so many more things to talk about and new ideas to think up. If you have any ideas you would like us to explore we would love to hear them or any types of media that you would want to hear more about. David and I are always willing to try new things (although I will not read Dickens, I am sorry, but no).

Holly and I started this blog far more just because we wanted to write and get some of these thoughts out of our brains.
